2. Tutor Profile and Priorities

– Tutors must demonstrate strong academic performance in their specialist subject area.
– Tutors must have excellent communication skills and a passion for teaching and supporting students.
3. Safeguarding and Safer Recruitment
– All staff must undergo an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check prior to employment.
– At least two satisfactory references must be obtained before confirming any appointment.
– All staff are required to complete safeguarding training and comply fully with Edurium’s Safeguarding Policy.
4. Employment Contracts
– The main form of contract at Edurium is **hourly-based and fixed-term**.
